Everyone throws around this term “inflammation” today, but I don’t think most people don’t know what it is and in reality, it’s no different than spraining an ankle or a wrist – it’s red, it’s puffy, it’s swollen. Well, when you eat the wrong foods you cause inflammation at a cellular level so it’s no different than your wrist or ankle which could be puffy, and inflamed, tender. If that’s your thyroid, it’s gonna struggle to produce hormones and that can if enough cells become that way it could lead to a thyroid disorder or weight loss resistance or it’s really the cause of cellular disease. So, we know heart disease, cancer, even diabetes are all inflammatory in nature so if you don’t – we like to say – if you don’t get to the cell, you’ll never get well.
